About Us

Red Haus Daycare is built on trust and traditional values. We emphasize safety, structure, learning, and fun!  Each day your child will be provided nutritionally balanced meals, snacks, and a mixture of arts and crafts, music, free and educational play. 

When you bring your child to Red Haus, you can rest assured that they will be kept safe and healthy.  The facility is located about 300 feet from the Police Station, next door to the Library, and features a large, fenced backyard with ample room for play!

About the Owners

Red Haus Daycare is owned and operated by Ally Corthell, a 5th generation Oregonian who grew up in nearby Newberg before attending college at Grand Canyon University, a private Christian school. Ally majored in exercise science with an emphasis in health education and won 2 WAC Championships running the the 100m hurdles.    

Ally's daughter, husband, and dog live at the home as well.  Kaycee was born in 2022 and is also a client. 

Ally's husband Mac, who is largely at work during business hours, is also a 5th generation Oregonian. He served in the Marine Corps before becoming a Deputy Sheriff, then served  in the National Guard while earning his law degree, and has since been an executive level government administrator.   

And last but not least, Al (aka Turtles) is a black lab who loves children almost as much as he loves tennis balls (or any other kind of ball really).
